Arri Signature Primes (LPL)

The all new ARRI Signature Primes are modern cinema lenses designed by ARRI for large format (full frame) digital cinema. The Signature Primes exemplify state-of-the-art optical precision and exceptional design. The images from these lenses are deeply organic, emotionally engaging, with beautiful natural skin tones and unique creamy bokeh. A fast maximum aperture of T1.8 facilitates shallow depth of field and the smooth focus fall-off gives subjects heightened presence in the frame.

The Signature Primes offer a fresh new look never seen before in cinema. Warm, smooth skin tones, open shadows, with very crispy blacks and bokeh like looking through a window in the rain. A great option when you need more subtle character than many of the vintage lenses popular at the moment. Clean but not clinical, cinematic but not sterile. These are modern lenses with a timeless look!

We also carry Arri’s new Impression V Filters, which give a vintage feel to Signature Prime and Zoom lenses. The four negative and four positive diopter filters incrementally shift the focus characteristics of the image, allowing a range of detuned looks to be created for Super 35 or large format with one set of Signature lenses. The positive filters have a nostalgic, glamorous feel, with swirly bokeh, glowing skin tones, and softer backgrounds; while negative filters have a grittier look, with inward-pulling bokeh and intense, vibrant backgrounds.
